Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Assistant

Job Summary: The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong desire and ability to learn commercial insurance. In addition, they must be willing to become familiar with all aspects of insurance services from the application process to policy analysis. This position also requires an ability to professionally and energetically respond to client questions and concerns. The Spartanburg office is a high pace group environment. Experience working with computers is highly desirable.

Competencies:
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multi-task projects and prioritize
  • Ability to initiate and foster rapport with customers, coworkers and companies
  • An ability to learn commercial lines markets, forms and coverage's
  • Superior computer skills and full command of Microsoft Office
  • Two or more years experience in a business environment
  • Highly motivated and results oriented individual

Job Title: Commercial Lines Supervisor

Branch Location: Spartanburg, SC

Job Summary: The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of commercial insurance. In addition, they must also be familiar with all aspects of insurance services from the application process to policy analysis. As Supervisor they will monitor office workflows and organize staff schedules. This position also requires an ability to professionally and energetically answer client coverage questions, support the marketing function and seek efficiencies within the existing information systems. Experience using Applied Systems software is essential. The Spartanburg office is a high pace group environment.

Competencies:
  • 5 or more years of experience with Applied Systems and full command of Microsoft Office
  • 5 or more years of progressive experience in the Property & Casualty industry
  • A knowledge of commercial line's markets, forms and coverages
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multi-task projects and prioritize
  • Ability to initiate and foster rapport with customers, coworkers and companies
  • Highly motivated and results oriented individual

Job Title: Commercial Sales Executive

Job Summary: The ideal candidate is familiar with the complex coverages, programs, and guidelines of property/casualty insurance carriers or willing to learn. They possess the ability to schedule appointments with prospective clients, analyze existing exposures, and gather the required data and materials for quoting. Emphasis will be placed on the ability to: present the submission to underwriters for reviewing and pricing, return to the prospective client with insurance solutions and sell the account.

Competencies:
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously despite their complexity
  • Excellent organizational and time management discipline
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Results orientation with the drive to succeed
  • P&C license (required within 3 months of employment)
  • Three or more years of sales experience
